Blyde river Canyon

I photographed this scene in 2012 already. But somehow only “discovered’ the photo when I sorted out all my personal photos on our server a month ago.

This is the Blyde river Canyon in Mpumalanga. It is just one of those places you HAVE to visit when you get there. This place has very sweet memories for Surika and I. Our first weekend away as a couple was to Mpumalanga. And we visited the Blyde River Canyon as well. So this photo reminds me of our first weekend away, and how sick I was the weekend, and Surika looking after me. Strange how photos almost always trigger something in your memory banks and take you way, way back to things you think you have forgotten.

It was the middle of the winter when we visited here again. It was very cold and I like the fog hanging around.
